I've been fortunate in the last 30 years to have trained almost every age and ability. The experience from children, elderly, disabled (mental/ physical), rehab, teenage, mums, using boxing, step, weights, functional fitness, group fitness, choreographed classes, aqua aerobics, yoga, pilates, tai chi, circuits, indoors and outdoors and so on, has given me an invaluable, never-ending fountain of ideas and an ability to understand where most people are at physically and mentally , therefore being able to meet them at their level and train from there.

Vashti Schulz is the best trainer our Strength For Life group has ever had. She makes great exercise routines for everyone of all fitness levels whether they are disabled or strong.

I have known Vashti for 6 years now, since I have been attending the gym at Aldgate. Prior to this time, I remember looking through the open doors, & thinking,there is another gym that i will never join, as I always felt very intimidated by the very idea of it, & also had the impression that I wouldn’t be good enough, however, a friend of mine, who is a member, encouraged me to go along & just observe, which I did, & after meeting Vashti, I immediately felt comfortable, & decided to join. I belong to the over 50’s group, & she is very popular with all of us because of her constant, support, friendliness, & she works very hard to make our ageing bodies as fit & strong as possible with a good variety of exercises, so we never feel bored. Thanks to Vashti, the atmosphere is always welcoming, & we manage to have quite a few laughs as well.
